Cricklade Town are looking to get back in action this weekend following three weeks without a Wilts Premier game, writes RAY BURROUGHS.

They entertain Aldbourne and boss Graham Jackson is hoping his side can continue where they left off.

"We just got going well and turned in some useful results before games against Biddestone, Devizes and Malmesbury were called off.

"It won't be easy against Aldbourne on Saturday. They always battle well and I just hope our lads are not too rusty."

Defeated 2-0 by AFC Stratton last week, Pete Orsi's Aldbourne are quite capable of causing an upset.

Second-placed AFC Stratton entertain Chiseldon Castrol, who will be in high spirits after their victory over Warminster Town.

Stef Kucynski is aware his side have to keep winning to keep the leaders under pressure and their cause has been helped by the return of Phil Corcoran and Rick Casey.

Purton boss Ian Restell has set his side a target of maximum points from their next three games starting at home to Malmesbury Vics.

Wroughton have a home fixture at Swindon Supermarine's Hunts Copse against Westbury United.

League leaders Trowbridge Town are at home to Marlborough Town.

In Junior Division One, Wootton Bassett United are emerging from the pack to challenge the leaders. They travel to Aldbourne on Saturday.

After their success in the Wilts Junior cup last week Ferndale Rodbourne return to league action at home to Down Ampney.

Third-placed Wanborough are at home to Cricklade Reserves and Blunsdon United are at home to AFC Stratton Reserves.

Match of the day in Junior Division One could be at West Swindon where the home side entertain Minety.

Another close encounter could be between Trax and Blunsdon United Reserves.

In the Fountains Trophy Junior Cup, Biddestone Reserves entertain New College and Wroughton Reserves take on Pinehurst OB the league's highest scorers.
