MARK Hodkinson is looking for Bradford Town to increase the pressure on their championship rivals by keeping their unbeaten run going until Christmas.

Saturday's 2-1 win at Marlborough Town meant Bradford have now gone six games without losing and manager Hodkinson has been encouraged by his side's recent form.

Adam Smith was Bradford's goal hero with a brace either side of half-time while Tom Etheridge netted a consolation for Marlborough.

Bradford are now four points clear of fifth placed Purton Reserves and within striking distance of Biddestone and Stratton.

Hodkinson said: "I was very pleased because they were the last team to beat us so it was good to go up there and get one over them.

"Adam Smith got both goals and was absolutely tremendous. It was a very good battling performance.

"They did everything we asked of them. We had a game plan and the players responded to it.

"We've got to rely on other results going our way, but all we can do is keep winning. Let's be unbeaten up until Christmas and then we can look at it again in the New Year."
