A COUNCIL tax dodger from Southwick has been handed a suspended prison sentence for avoiding payments in excess of £1,100.
Emma James, 36, of Chantry Gardens, was sentenced to 45 days imprisonment but the jail term was suspended as long as she pays £80 a month towards the debt.
James pleaded guilty to culpable neglect at Chippenham Magistrates' Court on Friday.
