NORTH Wilts Under 12s side beat their Oxford counterparts 3-0 at Wantage Town.

The North Wilts side, playing their first match, were unstoppable from the start with Joe Harris and Luke Robinson running the Oxford defence ragged.

Harris opened the scoring on 15 minutes and 10 minutes later Harvey Coker stole the ball in midfield and scored a fine solo goal.

Solid defending from Hobbis, Aubrey, McGuiness and Beeden held Oxford at bay in the second half, with Harris completing the tally with a second goal.

The under 11s went down 3-1 to their Oxford counterparts, Dominic Rekowski with a second-half consolation goal.
