CALNE, struggling for senior players over the past few seasons, are to launch a junior section on January 10.
The Dorset & Wilts Division One side will host their open day at John Bentley School, with Premiership leaders Bath lending their support.
Senior Bath squad members will be in attendance, along with Academy players and coaching staff and the high-flyers will also be donating kit and balls, and signed merchandise for prizes in a free raffle.
Youngsters in school years seven, eight and nine are welcome to participate and the club are looking to recruit enough students, both boys and girls, to form teams in the under 12, 13 and 14 year old age groups.
The open day starts at 10am with a training session provided jointly by Bath and Calne, followed by supervised games, and will finish at 1pm.
Further information contact from Calne secretary Peter Brummell on 01249 822701, or development officer Matt Snell on 01249 812194.
