A PLUMBER in Bradford on Avon has hit on a great way to solve the eternal problem of what to get for the man who has everything this Christmas.

Ian Pritchard runs his own plumbing and heating business in Bradford and has just secured UK distribution rights for Jonny Glow a line of luminous stickers around the inside of the toilet bowl that glows in the dark, directing the toilet user where to go.

He said: "I was working in a hot bathroom last summer and lifted up the bathroom carpet and it stank.

"The family had small children who were going through potty training and so I looked around on the internet to see if I could find a solution to the problem.

"After talking to the US branch of the company that make the stickers I was given the opportunity to be the UK distributor.

"It is good to be able to offer my customers something different, but also could be a good gift for someone. For the man who has everything you can be sure that he will not have ever seen something like this before.

"I think it will have quite a lot of appeal to a range of people, like rugby players and their girlfriends, anyone who is going to a Christmas party this year and people who are toilet training their children."

Mr Pritchard has taken delivery this week of several boxes of Jonny Glow sets and admitted shipping them over from the US had not been without its problems.

He said: "Customs called me when they arrived as they were not sure what they were. It was quite a job trying to explain to them what they were for over the phone."
