Bath head coach John Connolly has named his side to face L'Aquila in the first round second leg Parker Pen Challenge Cup match today at the Recreation Ground.
James Hudson and Chris Goodman will make their debut at the Rec, and Rob Hawkins will be in the same position should he come off the bench.
World Cup winner Iain Balshaw, granted the Freedom of the City yesterday, will face a late fitness test on his leg.
Connolly said: "We will make a decision on Balsh after the warm-up. He took a nasty hit to the leg last week and is still not 100 per cent right. If he does not make it, we will start with Ross Blake on the wing and only use five subs."
With a 64-point aggregate advantage going into this leg the chances are that Bath Rugby will progress into the second round, but Connolly expects nothing but the best from his charges.
Team: Perry, Balshaw/ Blake, Maggs, Crockett, Danielli, Barkley, Martens, Barnes, Mears, Stevens, Hudson, Grewcock (c), Gray, Scaysbrook, Goodman. Subs: Blake, Hawkins, Bell, Tindall, Feaunati, Fidler.
