THE Wheatsheaf Cabin Crew entertain North Dorset I on Saturday in the quarter final of the Dorset & Wilts First Team Vase.
Wheats skipper Greg Fergusson said that the team was looking forward to the clash but has realistic expectations about making further progress as they normally play North Dorset IIs.
He added: "But in a cup game you can always hope and home advantage plays a large part.
"We have a strong squad at the moment, buoyed by good results and England's World Cup win - so the boys are relishing the opportunity to make a mark."
Chairman Jon Brooks said: "We regularly have good runs in the second team cup. Now our success has caught up with us and we have to compete at a much higher level than we are used to.
"But after watching the moves the lads put together against Andover and Marlborough, I'm confident we will earn the respect and our players will relish the opportunity to parade our skills, commitment and team spirit."
North Dorset are riding high in D&W I and were seeded, receiving a bye and beating Weymouth to reach the quarter final. They will be expecting an easy victory against the Cabin Crew.
Fergusson said: "We are very much the underdogs going into this and will be looking to maintain a respectable scoreline.
"The team will do their best and hope for some romance."
