SWINDON Amnesty would like to thank the Old Town Co-op and all their customers who donated to us so generously on Saturday.
The collection raised £187.10 for Amnesty's continuing campaign to protect human rights around the world. December 10 was Human Rights Day. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, signed on December 10, 1948, declares that 'respect for ... human rights ... is the foundation for freedom, justice and peace in the world". We have some way to go, but every donation helps to make it a reality for a few more people. Thank you.
