A new sign was unveiled at Swindon's Youth Offending Team headquarters on Friday, designed and built by seven of its young customers.
The colourful metalwork was officially unveiled by former High Sheriff of Swindon Sir Christopher Benson at the Green Road, Upper Stratton offices.
The seven youngsters were brought together by a mentoring project set up by the team.
Manager Liz Purling said: "These young people have been successfully diverted away from less productive holiday activities, to work together as a team with enthusiasm and skill.''
The project helps young people aged between 10 and 17, by giving them a range of activities including literacy and numeracy training.
