SWINDON Town Ladies were comprehensively beaten 4-0 at Aldbourne by Cardiff City in the South West Combination League.
Cardiff grabbed the lead in the 21st minute when Charlotte Miller's cross was met by Marie Barrow at the far post to score from an acute angle.
Four minutes later City got a second when Joanne Jones free-kick deceived the Town's defence to find the net.
Cardiff got a third in the 33rd minute when Marie Barrow ran clear to give keeper Wendy Davis no chance.
With the second half just six minutes old, Cardiff got a fourth when Charlotte Miller hit the ball into the net following a goalmouth scramble.
n THE honours went to Chippenham Town Ladies in their derby with Swindon Town Ladies Reserves as the visitors won 3-0.
Swindon started well and created chances, but were unable to capitalise.
Chippenham managed to soak up the pressure and, although their attacks were few, they took the lead through a good strike from Lia Painter.
In the second half, Chippenham were much better and increased their lead thanks to two more goals from Becky Prangley.
