Swindon wholesaler UK Leisurewear plc is looking to Germany to expand its export business after establishing successful distribution outlets in Ireland, Holland, Sweden and France.
Founded in 1990 by current chairman Alan Quinn, the company has just acquired a neighbouring property on the Westmead industrial estate to house more stock, an employee restaurant and gym.
And if that weren't enough, in January, managing director Tracy Richards will be leading a sales team to a trade show in Dusseldorf, in an initiative aimed at breaking into the German market. With a turnover of more than £17 million a year and a 75-strong workforce, the company distributes its own brand of leisurewear to the screen print, embroidery and retail trades.
