ON a day when some matches were called off due to waterlogged pitches, Division 1 saw 39 goals rain in.

Westlecott led the way, as they trounced Spectrum 10-0. Ashley Edenborough grabbed a hat-trick, with the others coming from Steve White, Andy Zarczynski (2), Johan Sutton (2) and Paul Pharral.

Deers Leap's Dennis King fired in four of the goals that beat 10-man Trailers 9-1. Others came from Pete Goddard, Derrick Pedley (2) and Johnny Cole (2).

County Ground Reserves edged past Woolworths 6-4. Martin Cobb notched a hat- trick for Woolworths, for whom Kev Priest also scored. County Ground scorers were Matty Light (2), Darren Wallace (2), Kev Taylor and Mark Smith.

Southbrook beat Barron Heating 5-3 thanks to goals from Paul Parsons (3), Jason Cattle and Gareth Pearce. Barron's scorers were Danny Scotford, Joe Jenkins and an own goal.

Premier Division

Zurich maintained their unbeaten run, beating County Ground 3-1 with goals from Vince Meredith, Dave Amey and Craig Alexander. County Ground's scorer was Simon Lowe, and man of the match was Zurich keeper Richard Pearce.

Ridgeway and Wheatsheaf were involved in a competitive game which ended 3-3. Ridgeway scorers were Glen Macarthy, Chris Smith and James Street, with Roger Whitlock, Martin Simmsand Addy Pointer scoring for Wheatsheaf.

Westwood lost 4-1 to Windmill, whose scorers were Ricky Mazzotta (2), Dean Parsons and John Husband.

Division 2

LIDEN Pumas overcame Green Baize in a thriller, eventually winning 6-5, the winning goal coming three minutes from the end. Liden's scorers were George Harding (2), Terry Moore (2), Robbie Harris and Tom Ritchie, who also missed a penalty. Green Baize scorers were Kev Mangel, Wayne Savory, James Argarbi, and Danny Landin.

Division 3

Only one game was played, between Walcot Old Boys and Woolworths Reserves, but it turned out to be a thrilling 4-4 draw. Walcot's scorers were Callum Woollen (2) and Ashley Williams (2).
