The Safer Swindon Shop is on hand to help people with problems relating to personal or community safety.
Advice on police or council services is available from staff at the shop in Havelock Street.
Leaflets on crime prevention, health issues, drugs and alcohol are also available.
If transport is a problem, information may be sent to people's homes.
Consumer Advice staff offer Swindonians information about the law and help sort out contractual problems with faulty goods or unsatisfactory services.
It is open from 10am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday. Call 01793 525114 or 01793 528137 for more information.
