CHIPPENHAM Ladies are through to the quarter-finals of the RFU's South Shield competition after a thumping 56-5 victory over Totanians with try machine Harriet Crockett bagging six scores.
Totanians turned up with only 12 players but by the end of the match, they were down to 10 and Chippenham only had 12 players on the pitch.
But from the start, they applied the pressure with Sam Morgan creating space for scrum-half Lisa Carter to score an unconverted try from 20 metres out.
Soon after, a blindside moved started by Carter set Harriet Crockett for a 50-metre run to the line for her first.
Then Jay Cunningham ran the length of the pitch to score under the posts with Morgan adding the conversion.
Carter who put Morgan in for her first try, which she converted, before Crockett again was given clean ball to go under the posts.
Further tries came from Crockett, who collected a kick from Morgan, and then added another and Cunningham in the corner.
Letitia Delaney also scored an outstanding try, breaking three tackles in the process and running to the line from 60 metres out.
Totanians scored their only try from a breakaway.
