HIGHWORTH JUNIORS maintained their under 13 Division One title charge by avenging their only league defeat of the season.
The hosts thumped rivals Brunel Boys 5-1 at the Rec.
Highworth went ahead when Craig Bowden's shot was deflected past the helpless keeper and then Dan Lee forced home a great Bowden cross to stretch the lead.
In the second half, Brunel got back into the match with a penalty but Highworth finished the game strongly and ran out easy winners with great goals by Adam Brooks and Marcus Fylan-Smith and a close-range finish by Jack Duckers.
Highworth are jostling for position with Eastville Boys and Westlea Wanderers who met in a top-of-the-table clash.
The encounter was surprisingly one-sided with away side Westlea running out 4-0 winners.
It was Hillis who took the glory with a fine brace for Wanderers in the first half.
Eastville started the second half strongly but the Westlea defence of Moody, Bray, Rhandawa and Maynard held their own, with keeper Adam Miller making several outstanding saves to keep a clean sheet for the visitors.
Wanderers continued to battle and were rewarded when Hillis completed his hat-trick and added a fourth for good measure.
Wootton Bassett beat Wroughton 6-1 with James Terry, Brett Embling and Harry Fitz among the scorers.
Lydiard Youth took pole position in Division One of the under 12 section after maintaining their 100 per cent record in emphatic fashion.
The new league leaders hammered Liden 14-0 to take over top spot from Amesbury. O'Driscoll hit a double hat-trick and his strike partner Greer notched five.
Spink got a brace and Cheetham was also on target.
In Division Two, Blunsdon Colts thrashed Minety 11-0 and Greenmeadow cruised to a 3-0 win at Old Town United.
Both Strattons were also victorious on their travels, with Youth winning 1-0 at Shrivenham and Juniors 5-1 victors at Swindon Badgers.
Croft Juniors maintained their 100 per cent record in the under 11 Central Division after an 8-2 win over second-from-bottom Old Town Town United.
Ferndale Rodbourne Pumas lost ground on the leaders after a surprise 4-2 defeat at AFC Swindon.
Shaw also boast a perfect record in the West Division after their 5-2 win at Ferndale Tigers.
Blunson Colts' 11-0 win over Cricklade keeps them clear at the top of the North section.
Highworth Juniors collected their 10th win in 10 games with a 3-0 triumph against visiting Lydiard Youth in the under 10s North Division.
Ferndale Pumas remain favourites for the West Division following a 9-0 win over Fairford B, while Old Town closed the gap on Croft in the Central section with a 5-3 win over Greenmeadow.
Purton beat Blunsdon Colts 2-1 in the second round of the Evening Advertiser Cup.
Cirencester Juniors continue to enjoy a six-point cushion in the under 9 North Division thanks to a 4-1 win at Stratton Youth.
West Division leaders Swindon Badgers were beaten 1-0 at Malmesbury but second-place Wootton Bassett were unable to exploit the slip as their match against Ramsbury was cancelled.
Plucky Malmesbury were beaten 5-1 at Stratton Juniors in the under 16 Division.
Malmesbury fell behind after 20 minutes when Horsell struck a fine solo effort.
Griffiths levelled with a delightful lob but Stratton regained the lead after half-time when Horsell punished Roberts' under-hit back-pass to score.
The hosts then notched three more to compound the Malmesbury misery.
Elsewhere, Liden Community were 4-2 winners at home to Wootton Bassett.
In the only game in the under 15 section, Wootton Bassett were beaten 13-1 at home by Stratton Juniors.
At under 14 level, Eastville Boys defeated Wroughton 5-2, Stratton Juniors were 4-2 winners against Greenmeadow and Wootton Bassett shared four goals with Fairford.
Bassett went 2-0 up through Phil Tearle and Dean Wason but were pegged back.
