MALMESBURY gained some revenge over old foes Mitel with a resounding 5-1 away win in the under 15 division.
Mitel had pipped Malmesbury to the title last season, but the reigning champions have struggled to defend their crown this term and were given a lesson in finishing by their rivals.
Good work from James Brown set up Jack Ward to make it 1-0 to the visitors.
Jake Miles made it 2-0 after more craft from Brown.
Myles Young put Malmesbury further ahead after the break before the hosts pulled one back.
Brown hit a deserved goal when he chipped the keeper after a strong run and Dan Done completed the win with a fifth.
Highworth Juniors remain on the edge of the title race after grinding out a 2-1 home win over Gunners Boys.
Highworth started brightly and on 20 minutes Daniel Burley released Alex Parker through the middle.
The forward's initial shot was saved by the Gunners keeper but Parker kept his cool to put the rebound safely into the back of the net.
Highworth continued to dominate but were unable to convert their possession into goals.
Lorien Bardwell nearly scored at the start of the second half following a powerful run down the right wing, but his shot was well blocked by the Gunners keeper.
Parker forced another good stop before the visitors enjoyed their own purple patch.
Highworth's Stephen Ware had to clear off the line before Ben Reid fired past Ben Goodey to level the scores.
But the hosts were ahead again five minutes later when Jaz Singh's throw was flicked on to Ryan King, who placed a sweet volley into the back of the Gunners net to put Highworth third in the table ahead of the Christmas break.
Cricklade were in ruthless form in the under 14 division, hitting 12 without reply at Oaksey.
A first-half hat-trick for striker James Lally and goals from Lee Cottom and Daniel Thompson saw the visitors lead 5-0 at half time.
Lally bagged his fourth of the day, and Walton (2), Daniel Dodson, Josh Grady, Gary Newton and goalkeeper Mike McKewen completed the rout.
Kingsdown were 5-3 winners at home to Highworth.Man-of-the-match Lee Hanlon ran the show for Kingsdown, with Daniel Keene (3), Elliott Pether and Joe Murphy scoring the goals.
Cricklade's under 13s slumped to a 13-0 home defeat at the hands of Eldene.
Eldene led 4-0 at half time but will be disappointed they did not make even more of their possession.
The second half was a different story as Eldene found added incision in front of goal.
Top scorer Jamie Hamill scored five to take his tally to 22 for the season. Christian Ellis and Luke Robinson hit hat-tricks and man of the match Michael Cox also scored.
Brunel Boys won a 6-4 thriller against Malmesbury. Paul Squires scored twice and Scott Barnes struck direct from a corner, while Jo Gidinski, Antonio Vitali and Louis Dee were also on target.
At under 11/12 Purton beat Brunel Boys 10-1.
