Blick plc, the Swindon-based security, communication and time management solutions firm has presented a cheque for £5,500 to the Wiltshire and Swindon Community Foundation.
This contribution represents the beginning of a Blick fund with The Community foundation, a registered charity supporting disadvantaged people in the local area.
Vanda Murray, Chief Executive of Blick plc, said: "The Foundation produces some wonderful work and we are extremely proud to be associated with it.
"This fund is a big step forward for Blick, with which we hope to support many local causes."
The money was raised through a Christmas donation and Summer Ball.
Kate Hunter, Development Director at the Community Foundation said: "A company like Blick is enormously important to us, and to the many charities and voluntary groups who are helping disadvantaged people in Swindon."
