Staff and volunteers at Victim Support Wiltshire will be on hand to help anyone who is a victim of crime over the Christmas period.
The charity helps people cope with the effects of crime and is urging people to get in touch if they or somebody close to them are affected by crime.
"Unfortunately criminals can take advantage of the Christmas period, especially if people leave their homes to visit family or are out of town and vulnerable to pickpockets," said Mary Platten, deputy area manager.
"We are urging people to call Victim Supportline even if they haven't reported the crime to the police.
"They should not suffer in silence."
Victim Support Wiltshire on (01380) 729476 will be open on Christmas Eve 9am to 2pm, closed December 25 to 28, then open 9am to 2pm December 19 to 31, and closed on New Year's Day.
The national helpline service Victim Supportline on 0845 3030900 is closed only on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
