Calne Players are rehearsing hard for their forthcoming pantomime The Wizard of Oz, which will be performed as part of their tenth anniversary celebrations.
Each year the amateur theatre group puts on a performance in John Bentley School hall and any profits raised go to local causes.
This year they are performing a script written by their director Linda Swan. It merges three different stories in one.
"It will have the singing and dancing we do each year. But this year we have some more interesting staging, with different levels and ramps. There will be minimalist scenery on the stage," said Calne Players member Tabby Walsh, 16, who attends John Bentley sixth form.
There are more than 30 people involved in the production this year from age six to 60 plus.
The group is currently meeting in the Methodist Hall each week to rehearse and now has a full cast.
The first performance will be on February 18 and the show will run each night until Saturday 21.
