HIGHWORTH'S Hellenic League title hopes were reignited with a fine 1-0 win over Premier Division leaders Didcot last night.
John Fisher's side had edged an open first half, with Matt Saye the main source of danger to the visitors.
But the breakthrough didn't arrive until the final 20 minutes when Dave Webb struck a superb 20-yard drive into the bottom corner of the net.
Any hopes of a late Didcot comeback were dashed when Paul Bedwell was given his marching orders for a second booking.
Corsham stretched their unbeaten run in the Screwfix First Division with a 2-2 draw against fellow high-flyers Bristol Manor Farm at the Southbank.
Dave Kilmurray hit both the Corsham goals to keep them on the periphery of the promotion race.
James Constable has completed a switch from Cirencester to Chippenham.
The promising 19-year-old striker caught the eye of Steve White while playing for Ciren against Bath City last week.
Constable made his unofficial Bluebirds debut in a behind closed doors friendly with Paulton Rovers last night alongside half a dozen triallists as White looks to bolster his squad ahead of the Dr Martens League trip to Chelmsford on Saturday.
