WHEN these pictures taken of children long ago were found in the street, Zurich worker Ashley Bowes knew they must be important to the owner.
So he handed them into the Advertiser in the hope that the owner will come forward to claim them.
Ashley, 22, of Nythe, said: "They are copies of much older photos, but I can imagine they are of sentimental value to someone out there."
He found the copies in a Boots folder in Market Street, Swindon, outside the Children's Information Service at noon on Monday.
The two photos appear to have been taken in the 1930s. One shows a girl wearing a pink dress with a West Highland terrier. The second is of a fair-haired boy.
