Ref. 28315-07A 10-YEAR-OLD schoolgirl single-handedly organised and ran her own bring and buy sale to raise money for children with learning disabilities.
Bethany Blackwood, a pupil at King William Street primary school, held the Blue Peter sale to boost the show's Get Together appeal which will set up after-school clubs for children with learning disabilities.
Bethany, who lives in Eastcott Road, Old Town, with parents Jill, 38, and Rob, 45, said: "I love watching Blue Peter and really want to try to help children with learning disabilities. It's a really good cause."
Bethany held a stall in the school library and sold clothes, toys, food and books.
It took her two to three weeks to prepare for it but she feels it was a huge success and raised £66 in total.
