Now that Saddam Hussein has been captured, I think it would be nice if George Galloway MP popped over from Cairo, where he is busy stopping the war in Iraq, to visit his old friend now that he is down on his luck.

I know that George recently said that Saddam was a vile dictator, but before he fell George told him: "Sir, I salute your courage, your strength, your indefatigability." So perhaps they can patch things up especially at this time of goodwill to all men etc.

Perhaps George could take him a box of Quality Street in return for the box Saddam gave him on his last visit to Baghdad.

After all it's in time of adversity when true friendship means a lot.
