STOCKTON & Codford won 5-2 at home to Winterslow in Saturday Division One, but they were behind after just five minutes.
Mark Pluess set up Minko McFerran for the equaliser and Shaun Cooper lobbed the keeper to put Codford ahead.
The hosts added two more after the break, although Winterslow pegged them back with a stunning goal.
But with five minutes to play and the light fading, Jamie Rideout's fantastic strike brightened things up.
This victory was good preparation for Codford's game at high-flying Salisbury Glass on Saturday.
Until March, all Salisbury & District league games kick off at 2pm, with cup ties at 1.45pm.
