BEMERTON Heath Harlequins are highly satisfied with the extensive ground work completed during the summer.
Once again a perfect playing surface enabled a game to go ahead after torrential rain during the week.
The ground was used on Wednesday for a Wilts Under-18 game and on Thursday the reserves entertained AFC Totton reserves.
Saturday's game against Hamble was again a credit to the Western Way ground, which is top of the league's stadia.
It did not help the visitors though as the Harlequins eased their way to victory.
Mark Daubney, Matty Smith, with his first senior goal, and Jamie Boswell were the scorers and the 'Quins were pleased to record a clean sheet, which has not happened many times this season.
Bemerton could have scored more goals, but missed chances from good positions let them down badly.
On Saturday Harlequins are away to Wimborne and the reserves host Eastleigh reserves at Western Way.
