HUSBAND and wife Phil and Ann Barber who set up a chauffeur car business near Marlborough, and then moved into private car hire, have both been charged with offences relating to their company CarTours.
It is understood the couple, who live at The Severalls at East Grafton, are no longer running the business.
They were due to appear before magistrates in Devizes last Thursday but requested an adjournment until the end of January.
Philip Barber is charged with failing to keep records as prescribed by conditions attached to the granting of an operator's licence.
His wife is charged with being the proprietor of a private hire vehicle she used an unlicensed driver.
The business was set up in January.
