A self-help group of Marlborough adults with special needs staged its own Christmas production at the town's Resource Centre on Saturday.
Open Minds is a self advocacy group for adults with learning difficulties and it meets once a month at the Conservative Club.
Its members spent five weeks working with Kandu Arts, the community-based arts group, on planning their Christmas show.
The group's support worker Nina Fishlock said members wrote their own script. "They created the play themselves and called it The Night Before A Christmas Carol," she said.
The group, who were joined on stage by two youngsters from Kandu, incorporated Christmas songs into their play, which they performed to an audience of friends and relatives.
"It was very good, very funny with a lot of audience participation," added Mrs Fishlock.
