GEORGINA Akers, the receptionist in Channel Four's programme The Salon, will be taking a break from filming to return home for Christmas.
The 24-year-old, known as Gina on the show, has had little contact with family or friends since appearing in the show.
She is now looking forward to time at her home in Haydon Wick and partying in venues such as The Apartment and Soda.
Georgina, who taught beauty therapy at Swindon College, said: "I'll be going out and about in Swindon and do some shopping. I haven't had any time in London."
The Salon is screened daily and viewers can make an appointment to receive free treatments ranging from facials, waxing, pedicures, nail design and hair styling.
Georgina had the choice to leave the programme at Christmas but decided to return and face a public vote in the New Year.
In her first three weeks she was made manager for a day and then won the Employee of the Week award. But recently she is finding life in front of the cameras more difficult.
"I have not had the best of times. The staff haven't been particularly nice to me.
"I really hope it will be a different experience with new people. I hope that will turn it around and I'll have more fun.
The Salon is broadcast at 6pm from Monday to Friday.
