WESTBURY United boss Derek Graham was quick to point an accusing finger at Saturday's officials, claiming his team were the victims of rough justice.

Graham was sent from the dug out for his vociferous protests at Wroxham's final goal, but was unrepentant.

He believed a foul in the build up was one of many missed incidents that marred an entertaining game.

Graham said: "The player who crossed the ball had his arms around Steve Seals' neck, but neither the ref nor the linesman appeared to see it.

"There were lots of things happening today where we didn't get the decisions. We were gutted with the fourth goal because the free kick was taken while the ball was still moving.

"There were lots of decisions the ref gave in their favour, but when similar things happened to us we didn't get anything. He seemed to know their names, which was strange. It is often the case when you are the underdog that you get nothing in your favour."

Graham said his team had found Wroxham's pace difficult to handle but they did not deserve to lose by such a margin.

He said: "They were two silly goals that we gave them in the first half and when the third went in it was very difficult to come back. We were pressing forward and were always going to get caught out. I think 3-2 or 4-2 would have been fair. My lads didn't deserve to have six goals against them."

United were up against it from the beginning when Steve Perkins, playing his first game back after injury, had to be substituted after a heavy challenge.

Graham said: "We took a risk on Perky and losing him inside ten minutes was a big blow. His left ankle has gone again and he could be out for a while."

Saturday's match saw a crowd of 247 and Graham was grateful for their support.

He said: "It was a very exciting game and that is what you get when you come to watch us. It was a shame we couldn't have given them something more to cheer for."
