CHILDREN visiting Warminster Library can now choose their books in a revamped junior section.
Local artists Betty Wright and Stephan Godfrey painted pictures with a jungle theme which have been hung in the junior library.
Animals including monkeys, rhinos, elephants and zebras are now on show, and community librarian Richard Violet is pleased with the new look.
He said: "We decided the junior library needed a revamp because the old paintings were done 10 years ago and were looking rather dated.
"We appealed to Warminster Art Society for help and Betty and Stephan offered their services for free. It is a good example of community spirit.
"A lot of people have said how colourful it is. Children love them, they thinks the monkey and elephant are great."
To celebrate the launch of the new-look junior library staff are holding a jungle-themed quiz for children aged under 10.
Prizes include a Sindy doll, Lego and an Eddie Stobart toy.
The quiz is free to enter and forms are available from the library.
Quiz sheets must be returned by January 3.
