I HAVE been asked once again to write to you on behalf of the pigeons of Trowbridge.

Earlier in the year we thanked the people responsible for the new lights in The Shires underground car park for giving us plenty of places to perch.

Now, after encouraging us, people want to cull us.

We, the pigeons, would like to appeal to the people who feed us to stop.

After all if we had to rely on you feeding us we would have died out long ago, bearing in mind that we were here first.

The more you feed us, the more our number will grow and the more excuse there will be to kill us.

Please stop killing us with your kindness and let us get back to our original lifestyle. Thank you, coo coo, and a merry Christmas.
