RUBBISH collections will takes place as usual except on Christmas Day and Boxing Day in the Swindon Council area.
Refuse will be collected on the same days in the following week there will be a Thursday collection on New Year's Day.
The Household Waste Recycling Centre at Barnfield Road will be open between 8am and 4.30pm every day except Christmas day and New Years Day.
The paper recycling collection will not take place on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year's Day, and residents using the box scheme have been asked to store recyclable waste until the following week's collection.
