Former pupils of a Swindon school are being asked to take a walk down memory lane to raise cash for the Swindon Cancer Appeal.
Mary Micallef and Teresa Miszkowska are busy arranging a reunion for pupils who attended St Joseph's School, in Stratton St Margaret.
The party, planned for next spring, will be open to anyone who attended since the school opened in 1958. Proceeds from the £10 tickets will go towards our appeal.
Mrs Micallef, 51, of Okebourne Park, in Liden, said: "My daughter Louise, 26, went to school with the appeal manager Graziella Campisano, so we thought it would be nice to arrange the reunion."
Mrs Micallef, nee Winchcombe, attended the school between 1963 and 1968. Until recently she worked there too, as an exams assistant.
She also met her future husband Bernard when she was a pupil. "We met the year before I left in 1967 when I was about 14, and got married in 1972.
"My daughters Katie, 24, and Julie, 21, also attended and I think they will go to the reunion too."
Appeal manager Graziella Campisano said: "I'm so excited that Mary and Teresa are organising this school reunion to help the Swindon Cancer Appeal.
"A reunion is a lovely, friendly idea at the best of times, but I am especially interested in this party because I used to attend the school myself.
"I'm hoping a lot of my old classmates will turn up. It will be a great chance to catch up on everybody's news."
The reunion will be held on April 17 at the Crosslink Centre, in Stratton St Margaret, which has been donated free of charge.
Meanwhile Macmillan volunteers are currently in gift-wrapping action at the Designer Outlet Village, near the food court, from 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday. The Outlet Village is donating all wrapping materials.
And a Christmas poster scheme is also bringing in cash for the appeal. The idea is that people give a donation to the appeal in return for writing their own seasonal message on the poster instead of sending individual cards.
The whole community has thrown their weight behind our appeal, which is why we have raised a huge £205,373 so far.
Today's total was boosted by £223 from Wootton Bassett Infants' School thanks to a collection following their recent Christmas concert.
To order a Christmas poster for your workplace, call the Macmillan office on 01793 601636.
