AFTER reading the article about the young Ukranian girl Inna Haville, I am horrified to think what will happen to her if she is sent back to the Ukraine.
The Home Office minister Beverly Hughes obviously does not know much about the conditions and how the majority of people live in the Ukraine.
I have family there and know that without my family and I supporting them they would live very poorly.
I read in your article that Inna could go back and get a job. This is ridiculous, as there are not many jobs available. There are no jobs in factories and many businesses are bankrupt.
If there are jobs available, you have to buy a job. I know young people who have finished university. If they can pay $3,000 then they may have a job.
I have driven through the Ukraine often, and it is in a very bad state.
People say that Inna could work on a farm. That is a laugh. There are thousands of acres of land sitting idle as no one has money or machinery to work it, to grow crops to make money.
I do not understand how this girl can be expected to go back to the Ukraine knowing she has nothing to look forward to and no one to look after her.
Here she has a family who care about her and are prepared to support her.
I wish Inna all the best for her future and hope it will be in England.
