A second-half wonder goal handed Solihull Borough a 1-0 win over Swindon Supermarine at Hunts Copse.
Ray Baverstock's men spurned a series of chances before Morton Titterton let fly from 30 yards midway through the second half.
Marine had started brightly, creating three clear-cut opportunities inside the opening half an hour.
Jimmy Carter was too slow to react when the ball fell at his feet from point-blank range and the danger was averted.
Solihull goalkeeper Mark Gayle then produced a superb double save to frustrate the hosts.
James Blastland's header from Simon Futcher's cross was parried and Stuart Hodson was then denied as he looked to hammer home the rebound.
Dave Toomey also had an effort saved before Gayle's opposite number Ian Gill was the called into action.
The teenage shot-stopper deputising for the suspended Tom King got a hand on Steve Lutz's strike after Titterton had surged forward and sent his teammate clear.
After spending most of the first half on the back foot, Solihull enjoyed their own spell of dominance after the interval.
The decisive goal arrived on 65 minutes when Hodson's header clear was volleyed beyond Gill from range by former Hinckley star Titterton.
Futcher almost matched the effort when he struck the bar from a similar distance.
Marine were inches away from winning a late penalty when Giles Harris was upended, but a free-kick was awarded rather than a spot-kick and Hodson fired the deadball straight into the Solihull wall.
Not for the first time this season, Baverstock was left to bemoan a lack of killer instinct in front of goal.
"I was disappointed not to get anything out of the game.
"The performance was good and we did enough to win let alone draw.
"We created a number of good chances again but they're just not going in for us at the moment.
"But on the positive side at least we're creating chances.
"Solihull have had one decent effort and scored but it was a hell of a goal to be fair."
The defeat sees Supermarine slip to 10th in the Western Division, though they remain just five points off of third place.
