MINETY ended the first half of their Dorset & Wilts Division 1 campaign with an emphatic 60-0 home win over Weymouth.
Minety for their part looked sharp in all phases of play and benefited from an outstanding performance from number 8 Keith Arrell who scored four of his team's 10 tries.
They scored their first try from a catch-and-drive lineout move that saw hooker and captain Dave Peirce successfully touchdown.
The skipper scored the second try too, breaking up the blindside from a driving maul.
Minety's third try and Arrell's first came from a five-metre scrum awarded after the visitors carried the ball back over their own line.
Arrell scored his second and third tries breaking off the base of five metre scrums and completed his haul in similar fashion.
