CRICKLADE saw off Hungerford 42-0 to make it nine wins on the trot.
The visitors held Cricklade until the 25th minute when John Bucksey rounded off a spell of pressure by grounding under the posts and Danny Lloyd converted.
Just before half time Bucksey did it again and Lloyd converted another easy chance to leave the score 14-0 at the break.
Early in the second half Paul Howse was given the credit for a touch down and Lloyd did well in the worsening wind conditions to add the conversion.
He showed still more composure a few minutes later slotting two penalties in quick succession.
Despite the regular scoring of Cricklade, Hungerford continued to defend hard and showed flair at the back. Cricklade however were in no mood to concede points and ran in three further tries two from Gordon Aitken and one from Adrian Peel.
