NORTH Wiltshire artists are invited to join a skills training day run by North East Somerset Arts (NESA) on January 31.
The Artists' Open Day, taking place from 11am to 3pm, will allow artists from across the Wessex area to view the new arts facilities provided by the Radstock Art Project, based at Radstock Youth and Community Centre.
Artists can discover how to become involved as participants, community artists or exhibitors, and receive training on a variety of topics.
The Radstock Art Project provides high-quality, visual-arts facilities for local artists and communities.
Artists and participants have joined from Bath, Chippenham, Devizes, Frome and Norton Radstock itself.
The project provides an exhibition space and mobile exhibition equipment, affordable classroom/workshop facilities incorporating IT equipment, potters wheels and a kiln.
Places are limited so artists are advised to book early. A booking fee of £5 applies, with £4 refunded on attendance. Contact Syrah Arnold on (01761) 437251.
