WITH a much-needed win under their belts Chippenham Town will be looking to repeat the feat at home to Weston-super-Mare on Boxing Day.
On paper Chippenham have an excellent chance of winning the match and dragging themselves further away from the foot of the table.
Their confidence will have been boosted following Saturday's win at Chelmsford. In contrast Weston suffered a disappointing 1-0 defeat at home to Dover Athletic.
The Bluebirds are only three points behind their close rivals although they have played two games more.
White's team also have a slight psychological edge having beaten Weston in the reverse fixture back in August. That day a powerful second half saw the Bluebirds triumph by a 2-1 score line for what was their first win of the season with goals from Scott Walker and Charlie Griffin.
Former Bluebird Stuart Jones has been a regular in goal for Weston this season and another familiar face is that of Marc McGregor.
The striker moved to Hardenhuish on a month's loan from Conference side Tamworth back in September.
He made four starts and one substitute appearance for Chippenham in that time and scored a thumping volley in a 3-1 home defeat against pace-setters Weymouth.
Weston will want to bounce back from their defeat against Dover. They had gone into the game looking to do the double over the south coast side but a Danny Chapman goal on 43 minutes settled a dull affair.
