Young people completing an army preparation course were awarded their certificates at a prize-giving ceremony in Wiltshire College Lackham.
Some 16 young people aged between 16 and 19, from all over the county, attended the course at Wiltshire College for 12 weeks.
It is run in partnership with the army and was devised to help those keen to get a job in the army to develop key life skills and physical fitness to prepare them for army selection and training.
They worked on communication, teamwork and problem solving, as well as gaining certificates in First Aid at Work, Health and Safety and the National Navigation Award.
The programme also included activities such as climbing and abseiling.
Major Ken Bailie, army careers adviser for the area, said: "The course provides students with essential skills as well as developing their confidence and fitness.
"It also gives them an insight into the wide range of different job opportunities available in the army."
