Firstly may I congratulate you on the excellent local sports coverage your newspaper provides.

I did, however, chuckle to myself when I read the Wiltshire League football round-up on page 33 of last week's edition which stated that I had scored a hat-trick and Graham Gaiger an own goal in a Devizes Town Reserves match against Biddestone.

I feel that I owe it to my good friend Graham to confess that I was the unfortunate perpetrator of the own goal and that he should take all the plaudits for what was an excellent hat-trick.

I would therefore be obliged if you would correct this small error.
