TWO long-serving teachers left Kingdown School in Warminster last week after both clocking up 13 years in the classroom.
Lynne Down, who taught design technology and health and social care, is joining her new husband in Plymouth where she is taking up a promoted post at Estover School.
Heading east is science teacher Bob Duddridge, who will be joining John Mansfield School in Peterborough. Mr Duddridge was also Kingdown's Duke of Edinburgh Awards co-ordinator, leading numerous trips including expeditions to India and Morocco.
Headteacher Sheelagh Brown said: "We thank both Lynne and Bob for their commitment, enthusiasm and hard work and wish them both good luck in their new homes and careers."
Meanwhile office staff member Jenni Blair is making the short journey across town to become PA to Warminster School headteacher David Dowdles, after eight years at Kingdown.
