A DARTS tournament and pop concert held in memory of Trowbridge schoolgirl Charlotte Wakeham have raised nearly £500 for the charity set up in her name.
Pop hopefuls from Trowbridge group Starry Eyes performed in Melksham Labour Club on Friday in memory of the girl who would have celebrated her ninth birthday earlier this month.
Charlotte lost her battle against a rare form of cancer in September.
When she was first diagnosed, 15 months earlier, her parents set up the Charlotte's Chance of Life Fund and since her death have carried on fundraising to pay for respite care and research for families in the same situation.
Charlotte's grandmother, Wendy Bryant, who organised the concert and darts tournament said: "The concert was brilliant because the Starry Eyes team are so talented and they ran the show so well."
Ms Bryant, a keen darts player who has represented Wiltshire in the past, hosted an all-day darts tournament at the Labour Club on Saturday.
"There was a great turn out especially as it was the weekend before Christmas."
A signed Embassy shirt was sold for £100 at auction and a further £281 was raised on Saturday for the fund from a raffle and donations.
