CHRISTMAS cheer spread to a Trowbridge fabric shop after staff scooped first prize for their colourful festive window display.
Judges forgot to view displays at Harpers Fabric during the Jubilee celebrations but made sure the Fore Street shop was on the list of contenders this time around.
The giant red fabric stocking spilling presents has left shoppers dazzled.
Gina Wells, one of two employees who design-ed and made the display, said: "We try and make it out of the stock we have got and not have to bring anything in. It was so surprising to actually win the competition."
Co-creator Jane Hendon said: "We try and make dramatic windows all year round.
"People have been coming in and commenting about the pretty frontage."
Edward Harper, who originally opened the fabric business in Westbury 40 years ago, congratulated staff for their award-winning efforts.
Knees of Trowbridge scooped second prize and The Hair Garden in Castle Street came third in the competition organised by Trowbridge and District Chamber of Commerce.
President Colin Scragg was one of the four judges on the panel.
