The Phoenix Players amateur dramatic group is staging Richard Harris' comedy Stepping Out to mark its golden anniversary.

Made into a film starring Liza Minnelli it features the lives, laughs and loves of a group of women and a man who attend tap-dance classes.

The cast, some of whom have never danced before, have been taught by Judith Hockaday, from the Judith Hockaday School of Dance and Drama.

The play opens at the Arts Centre, Devizes Road from January 28 to 31 starting at 7.30pm.
