At the Corn Exchange, in New-bury, the Opera della Luna is performing Robin Hood.
This production, which is suitable for children but funny for adults, promises slapstick galore in Sherwood Forest.

Bath offers a more traditional Christmas treat. Jack And The Beanstalk is at the Theatre Royal starring Sherrie Hewson, better known as Maureen Elliott from Coronation Street, and James McCourt, from The Disney Channel. Journey to Oxford and you may think you are back in Bath, because the Playhouse has also plumped for Jack And The Beanstalk. Jack will be climbing the beanstalk until January 11 and tickets cost between £9.50 and £19.50 on 0117 902 0344.
Cinderella the musical in 1950s dress is gracing the Bristol Old Vic's stage.
