KNOWING your child is on the other end of a mobile phone has done wonders for parental peace of mind, but kids hate being constantly pestered by parents calling to find out where they are all the time.
A new service called ChildLocate enables parents to locate their children without plaguing them with phone calls. Using the latest mobile phone technology, the service allows parents to pinpoint their child's whereabouts in an instant by accessing a webpage, which then shows the child's location on a map, or by using a mobile phone, which indicates the area by text.
The service can be used with Vodafone, T-Mobile, Orange and O2 networks and works best in urban area where it is accurate from 50-500 metres. More information can be found on the website www.childlocate.co.uk
