A CALENDAR celebrating Swindon's roundabouts has become a cult Christmas hit.

As already reported in the Evening Advertiser, Redditch-based businessman Kevin Beresford, who runs a firm called BB Print Digital, produced the calendar as a novelty item.

He also produced calendars showing the best examples in roundabout-rich Bolton, Croydon, Grimsby and Cleethorpes, Milton Keynes, Redditch and Slough.

Fans include chat show host Graham Norton.

Orders have flooded in from all over the world, including Universal Studios and Scotland Yard.

Mr Beresford said Croydon was the runaway success this year, accounting for around 70 per cent of the 5,000 calendars already sold.

"The Swindon calendar features the town's most famous example, the Magic Roundabout, which has become so famous that it is the subject of internet sites.

Next year, Mr Beresford plans to expand his range to include Bracknell, Gateshead, Harlow, Hemel Hempstead, Hull, the London boroughs of Islington and Peckham, Salford, Skelmersdale, Solihull, South Wales, the south coast, Tamworth, Telford and Walsall.

He said: "You wouldn't believe the number of letters we've had from people asking us to do the roundabouts in their home towns."
