Students from New College met BBC Fame Academy judge David Grant at an awards ceremony in honour of their achievement.
Hayley Burton, 18, Katie Guiness and Kerry Thomas, both 17, travelled to London to receive their silver medals for Childcare Level Three.
David Grant, known to millions as one of the Fame Academy judges, likened their efforts to those of the students on the television show.
The students organised a Popstars Party for eight-year-olds as part of their BTEC Early Years course. Hayley, who recently transferred to Worcester, said: "It was our tutor's daughter's birthday so we threw the party for her. We had to incorporate different parts of the curriculum into the event.
"We made cocktails for the science part, a karaoke was the music and we drew a party girl for art."
Kerry, of High Street, Watchfield, said: "David Grant took the time to speak to all of us and sign autographs.
"I'd like to be a nursery nurse when I finish the course."
The competition is a national contest. It is part of the Skills Challenge Awards scheme, run by the Further Education Skills Competition Council.
